Held at Soulard Market Plaza, the event kicks off with registration at 10:00 am and opening ceremonies at 1:45 pm, followed by the first heat at 2:00 pm. Dachshunds compete in age-based categories—Cocktail Wieners, Hot Dogs, Ball Park Franks, and Wiener Wannabes—racing down a 30-foot track in six-dog elimination heats until a champion is crowned.
